Insurance
FHWC Accepts MOST insurances and Self Pay, please call our office to confirm if your provider is accepted. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Employee assistance program funded sessions through United Behavioral Health (UHC), AETNA, as well as Out of Network Coverage is accepted.
Tele-Health
FHWC offers TeleHealth remote counseling options for existing and new clients. Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to access health care services remotely and manage your health care. Sessions can be conducted either via Telephone or Video conferencing.
Our Therapists offer these services via HIPAA compliant platforms. Sorry, no Facetime, SnapChat, Facebook Messenger or other like platforms may not be applicable for Telehealth. Certain limitations and restrictions apply. This benefit is subject to insurance coverage and may require approval. Check with your insurance to ensure your plan covers this benefit. You can also call and have our office check your coverage to ensure your insurance reimburses for these services. Client must be resident of state in which services are being rendered.
Schedule Online
Family Healing and Wellness Center offers portal access for new and existing clients. All you have to do is have a valid e-mail address.
This portals offer an alternative to email, which is a generally insecure means to communicate about private medical information. Our portal provides a more secure online tool to do the following:
- Communicate with your Counselor (feature coming soon)
- Schedule appointments or request appointment reminders
- View records
Payment for Services
Cash, Flexible Spend Accounts (HSA) and all major credit cards accepted for payment. Sorry no CHECKS are accepted.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
Please call our office before the office opens at 10am.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment at your prescribed time, you will be logged as a missed appointment will be logged.
If you incur 3 missed appointments in 12 month period you will be subject to immediate discharge and scheduling hold.
Scheduling privileges may be reinstated but you will not be guaranteed an appointment with your regular therapist.
If you are running late to your appointment please contact our office to notify the Counselor. If you arrive 15 minutes after your prescribed time your appointment is forfeited and you will be required to reschedule.
